Fire one to the left or right side of the turret of the Tiger 2 H and the shrapnel will pen the deck and hit the ammo directly under it killing you almost every time. Worst of all is the fact that you have no defense against it.One day HE shells will be more realistic, but until then presume any IS-2 looking at you is going to one hit kill you and shoot it first, preferably in the turret where at the very least you'll stop it from firing.

If you are outnumbered 10 to 1 of course you try to avoid fighting vehicles which can destroy you.That being said:First tip: you shouldn't play arcade with the Tiger II H. Your biggest weakspot is the turret and in arcade it is ridiculously easy to hit. In RB it is still ridiculously easy to hit.but at least at range it's not QUITE that easy and you can actually bounce quite a few shots if angled correctly.Second tip: Angling. You do NOT angle this tank as much as the Tiger I.

Tiger I you angle at almost 45°, but for the Tiger II 20-25° is sufficient. Reason is the higher frontal plate to side plate thickness ratio. At about 25°-30° your side is protected simply by the 50% bounce chance.any more angling and you expose a weakness. Not needed, your frontal plate is strong and doesn't need as much angling.Third tip: Make sure you can not be outflanked.

Play agressive, people often make mistakes when suddenly a huge Tiger II comes around the corner. If the IS2 botched it's initial shot.rush it. Take out the gun or just outright kill him. You are a heavy tank, and altough you shouldn't blindly charge, you are tough enough to force a flank to collapse if played smartly. A lot of people loose their nerf when they see a Tiger II advancing at them. Use that and channel the TIGERPHOBIA!Tiger II H is currently probably the strongest german tank for it's BR.
